kinetic energy, KE =p^2/2 m, where p is the momentum=mv,m is the mass and v is the velocity.

Now f p~ =80% p=8/10 p ,KE~=p~`^2/2 m =(8/10 p)^2/2 m=(64/100)( p^2/2 m)

=16/25 KE =0.64 KE

HOPE IT HELPFUL!!!
