speed2 = ( x ÷8 )

The difference in time

⇒ 8- ( -6)

⇒ 15 minutes, which is ( 6÷ 12 ) hours

Difference in speeds =

( x ÷ 6) - ( x ÷ 10 ) = ( 1 ÷ 4 )

( 2x - x ) ÷ 10 = ( 1 ÷ 4 )

( x ÷ 8) = ( 1 ÷ 4 )

Cross multiplication :

4x = 8

x = 8÷ 2

x = 4 *2 km

⇒ 8km
