Everyone in this world has experienced something unexpected to him or her in some point of their life. It is just something natural that happens to many people living in this world.
For example, COVID - 19. No one expected a virus to arise and conquer this world. And we haven't expected to be in a quarantine lockdown and wear masks everywhere we go. No one can travel to any country and schools have become online. I personally wasn't expecting that. You might also not expect your death or your relatives/friend's death. There was also a chinese rocket which emerged that could probably destroy a big part of the planet as it weighed more than 10 tons. I bet no one expected that too. If you're a student, you would have not expected a surprise test from your teacher. I remember that there was one time where there was a surprise test on math that I haven't studied for. That was unexpected unfortunately :(
Living through life, people might unexpect things quite often. You might not even realize it. Unexpecting a thing might be as big as the end of the world or as small as going into a road trip with your family which you didn't expect.
