Hey MATE!!!

If the value of l = 0 then it is

s - subshell which has just 1 orbital.

If value of l = 1 then it is p - subshell

which has 3 orbitals.

If value of l = 2 then it is d - subshell

which has 5 orbitals.

And further it increases till 'i' (achieved at max. value of L).
