<1 and <2 are vertically opposite angles..so according to theorem they are equal.Hope u liked the answer

Victor36: can you give proof of this theorm.
Anumishi: Given two lines AB and CD intersect each other at the point O.To prove: ∠1 = ∠3 and ∠2 = ∠4
Proof:
From the figure, ∠1 + ∠2 = 180° [Linear pair] → (1)
∠2 + ∠3 = 180° [Linear pair] → (2)
From (1) and (2), we get
∠1 + ∠2 = ∠2 + ∠3
∴ ∠1 = ∠3
Similarly, we can prove ∠2 = ∠4 also.
Anumishi: Plz repost the question to get the proof so that i can explain you with image
Victor36: i know the answer i just posted it for checking basics thats all.
Victor36: thank you . JAI HIND
Victor36: we will draw angle3 on any one line , angle1 + angle3 =180. also angle 2+ angle3 =180 Therfore angle1 + angle3= angle 2 + angle3. Therfore angle 3 will cut on both side and thus angle1=angle2
Anumishi: yes its correct..you already knew it
