There is a blunder mistake in the question..
HCF IS NEVER GREATER THAN THE LCM.
So HCF is 4 not 60.
LCM = 60.
This is your answer.....
Let a and b be the two numbers...
a = 20.
HCF (20, b) = 4.
LCM (20, b) = 60.
We know that.....
HCF × LCM = Product of two number.
Therefore....
60 × 4 = 20 × b
240 = 20 × b
b = 12.
Hence the other number is 12.
