Given that sum of two numbers  is 105 and difference is  to be found out.

THe LCM is 180 and

HCF is 15

Find the product of the HCF and LCM.

Product of 180x15 = 2700

We have product of two numbers = product of hcf x lcm = 2700

Let the numbers be x and y.

x+y = 105

xy = 2700

x(105-x) = 2700 = 45(60)

$x^2-105x+2700 =0</p><p>(x-60)(x-45) = 0$

x=45 or 60.

When x=45, y = 60 or when x = 60, y =45

Hence difference of the numbers = 15

Hence the answer is 15
