Given:

L.C.M of two prime numbers u and v is 142

To Find

the value of 3u + v

Solution:

 as it is given the two numbers are prime numbers and their L.C.M is 146

L.C.M = p1 × p2

    and 143 = 11 × 13

here, v > u

So, u = 11 and v = 13

     ⇒ 3u + v = 3(11) + 13

     ⇒ 33 + 13

     ⇒ 46

Therefore, the value of 3u + v = 46
