if leaves are plucked from both plants and chlorophyll is removed , what steps should we follow?

1. Wash the leaves of both the plants under a running tap.
2. Then, Put both the leaves in a petri dish and pour drops of Iodine solution over them.
3. One of the leaf will turn blue-black whereas the other leaf will not turn blue-black.

This way we can prove that Sunlight or CO2 or Chlorophyll is essential for photosynthesis.
