Given:

  • Lemon is sold at 12 lemons per rupee.
  • Profit = 25%

To Find:

  • How many lemons rupee were purchased?

Solution:

Given,

  • CP = 12
  • Profit = 25%

As we know that

 \sf \: sp =  \frac{cp \times (100 + profit \: percent)}{100}

Now substitute the values

 \sf  \implies \: sp =  \frac{12 \times (100 + 25)}{100}  \\  \\  \sf \implies \: sp =  \frac{12 \times 125}{100}  \\ \\  \sf \implies \: sp = 15

Hence,15 lemons rupee were purchased.
