Lencho believed that God saw everything but still decided to write a letter to God-:
- In the chapter "A Letter To God" by G L Fuentes, Lencho wishes for the rain to fall so that he could get a good harvest and crops but rather there was a storm which arrived and it destroyed his harvest blurring his future.
- He then decided to write God a letter though he believed that God saw everything he was strongly in need of money so he asked god for some help regarding money and wrote to return and repay once he got a good harvest.
- The postman read this letter and got emotional so he raised a fund and gave it to Lencho with the letter. Lencho did not care about who gave him this money but he rather questioned the honesty and faithfulness of the post office people. He also felt that the money was less than what he has asked for and this is very ironic as he questioned the only people who helped him in the tough times and did not even appreciate them or be grateful to god for the amount of money he received.
