If L is the length of the rectangle and B is the breadth of the rectangle, Then
The ratio of its Length and Breadth will be written as,
Ratio = L / B
Now the length can be Lx and Breadth can be Bx
Now, we are given that the perimeter of the rectangle is also given
So, Let the perimeter be P
And we know , Perimeter = 2 (L + B)
Thus, P = 2 (Lx + Bx)
P = 2 (L + B) x
x = P / 2 (L + B)
Thus the value of x can be calculated this way and to Calculate the value of the length and breadth we can multiply the value of x with L and B above

Let length : breadth ratio be
L:B=k, where k is a constant
Therefore L=k*B
In case of a rectangle
Perimeter = 2(L+B)
= 2(k*B + B)
= 2(k +1)*B
Or Breadth B = perimeter/ ( 2*(k+1))
And length L= breadth *k
L:B=k, where k is a constant
Therefore L=k*B
In case of a rectangle
Perimeter = 2(L+B)
= 2(k*B + B)
= 2(k +1)*B
Or Breadth B = perimeter/ ( 2*(k+1))
And length L= breadth *k
