Appropriate Question :

  • If length, breadth and height of a room are 8cm, 6cm and 10cm respectively. find area of four walls.

Answer :

  • Area of four walls = 280cm²

Given :

  • Length, breadth and height of a room are 8cm,6cm and 10cm

To find :

  • Area of four walls

Solution :

Given,

  • Length of a room = 8cm
  • Breadth of a room = 6cm
  • Height of a room = 10cm

We know that,

  • Area of four walls = 2(l + b)h

Where,

  • l is a Length of a room
  • b is breadth of a room
  • h is height of a room

Substituting the value :

⤍ Area of four walls = 2(l + b)h

⤍ Area of four walls = 2(8 + 6) × 10

⤍ Area of four walls = 2(14) × 10

⤍ Area of four walls = 28 × 10

⤍ Area of four walls = 280 cm²

Hence,

Area of four walls = 280cm².
