its not diameter its diagonal....

draw the rhombus described with its diagonals, you will see that it is divided into 4 identical right angled triangles, each having one side of 35 cm and another of 12 cm. The third side of each triangle is its hypotenuse, which also happens to be one of the sides of the rhombus.

Using Pythagoras’ Theorem: 35^2+ 12^2 = hypotenuse^2

So, 1225 + 144 = 1369

Hypotenuse = root(1369), which = 37 cm

But the hypotenuse is one side of the rhombus, so the perimeter of the rhombus = 4 x 37 cm which = 148 cm

Answer:

draw the rhombus described with its diagonals you will see that it is divided into four in datical right angled triangle each having one side of 35 cm and another 12 the third side of each triangle is its hypotenuse also happens to be one of the sides of the rhombus

using Pythagoras theorem 35 raised to the power 2 ad 12 raise to power 2 equal to hypotenuse raise to the power 2

so 1125 + 144 equal to 1369

perimeter of rhombus equal to ( 4 * a )

( 4 * 37 )

148 , it is the answer
