Answer:

Length is w+4 for width w

2w + 2(w+4) = 44

2w + 2w+ 8 = 44

4w + 8 = 44

4w = 36

w =9

width is 9, length is 13

perimeter is 9+9+13+13 = 18 + 26 = 44.

Let the breadth be x

Then the length will be x+4

We are given that perimeter is

44 cm.

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

44 = 2(x+x+4)

44 = 4x + 8

4x = 44-8

4x = 34

x = 8.5 cm

Therefore the breadth is 8.5

And length is 12.5 cm.
