Answer: 45 sq cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

WIDTH OF RECTANGLE = x

LENGTH OF RECTANGLE = 4+x

Now,

Length + Width = 14

Hence,

(x)+(x+4)=14

2x+4=14

2x=14-4

2x=10

x=10/2

x = 5

WIDTH=x=5

LENGTH=x+4=9

AREA OF RECTANGLE

Are of rectangle = Length× Breadth (width)

(9)×(5)=45 sq cm
