Given : length = $6 cm$  and area = $24\ cm^{2}$

Solution :

• According to question we are given that length and area of rectangle are $6 cm$ and $24\ cm^{2}$  .

• To find area we use following formula -

• Area of rectangle = $l \times b$
• Substituting the values we get,

        $24 = 6 \times b \\b = \frac{24}{6} \\b = 4$

Hence, breadth of rectangle is $4 \ cm$ .
