if length of diagonal of a rhombus is 30 cm and its area is 240 cm.find its perimeter.

Answer:

Let the other diagonal be d cm.

Area of rhombus = 1/2 (product of diagonals )

240=1/2 × (30 × d)

d= 240 × 2/30

d= 480/30

d= 16

diagonals of rhombus bisect each other at right angles

let the length of sides be x

x= d1/2² + d2/2²

x= 30/2² + 16/2²

x= 15² + 8²

x= 289

x= 17

perimeter of rhombus = 4 × side

= 4 × 17

= 68cm

68cm is your answer
