if length of diagonal of rhombus is 30 cm and its area is 240 square centimetre find its perimeter​

Answer:

area of rhombus=1/2*diagonal 1*2diagonal

area=1/2*30*2diagonal

240=15*2 diagonal

16=2 diagonal

now perimeter=4*side

for perimeter we apply Pythagoras theorem as we know to sides of rhombus as diagonal make 90° where they meet.

so it's right angle triangle.

h^2=15^2+8^2

h=17cm {aprox.}

now perimeter =4*17

perimeter=68
