Answer:

length of the rectangle (l) = 16

perimeter (p) = 60

p = 2(l+b)

60 = 2 (16 + b)

60/2= 16+ b

30 = 16 +b

b= 30- 16

b= 14

hence the breadth of the rectangle is 14.

the breadth of the rectangle is 14 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x

length of the rectangle=16 cm

Perimeter of the rectangle=60 cm

therefore the breadth of rectangle:-

Perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)

60 cm=2(16+ x)

60 cm= 32cm + 2x

60cm-32cm=2x

28cm=2x

x=14 cm
