black hole is a region of very large mass densily..having huge gravitational field..even light also can't escape from it..so every thing attracted to black hole is due to its gravitational field..so light is made up of small particle called photons...which have zero rest mass..
when photon comes in large gravitational field then it gets deflected from straight path to curve one.
and according to the Einstein relativily theory when particle moves with speed of light it converted into energy and this energy helps light to bends towards high gravitational field towards black hole.

Black hole possesses a huge gravitational field that pulls everything into it.........Even light can't escape.......But light has no mass ......How it gets pulled up?............Gravity is not only the cause........The main culprit is space time...................Light travels in straight line but it can get curved due to strong gravitational field and gets trapped
