If little of pus after boil is remained in the area does it cause problem

I think the pus should be cleaned firstly and applied anteseptic after rinsing with water and swept with clean cloth. Because-

(1)Bad for hygine.

(2)Invites germs and fungi.

(3)Later causes skin problems.
