Log(x)+log(1+x)=0......(1)

log(a)+log(b)=log(ab)

..(1).=>>>. log(x)(1+x)=0

=> x^2+x=1

(since log1 =0)

x^2-x-1=0

nish91: the answer should b xsquare+x-1 =0

if logx+ log (l+x) =0

then log (x+x^2)=0

or x+x^2=1

x^2 +x-1=0

x= (-1+root5)/2 or x=( -1-root5)/2
