Given -

 \longrightarrow \:  \rm \:  log_ {x} \: 4 =  \frac{ - 1}{3}  \\

To Find -

 \mapsto \rm \: the \: value \: of \: x

Solution -

 \rm \: since \\   \\  \mapsto\rm log_{x} \: 4 =  \frac{ - 1}{3}  \\  \\  \rm \: so \\  \\  \mapsto \rm \: 4 =  {x}^{ \frac{ - 1}{3} }

 \rm \: cubing \: both \: sides \\  \\  \rm  \mapsto \:  {4}^{3}  =  {x}^{ \frac{ - 1}{3} \times 3 }  \\  \\  \rm \mapsto \: 64 =  {x}^{ - 1}  \\  \\  \rm \mapsto \frac{1}{x}  = 64 \\  \\  \rm \mapsto \: x =  \frac{1}{64}  \: or \:  {4}^{ - 3}

Formula used -

{\rm{log_{a}b=c}}

{\rm{\implies a^{c} =b}}
