1• m2 = (13-2√2)2

(a-b)2= A2+b2-2ab

(13)2 + (2√2)2-2(13)(2√2)

169+8-52√2

177-52√2.

2• n2 =(13+2√2)2

(a+b)2=A2+B2+2ab

(13)2+(2√2)2+2(13)(2√2)2

169+8+52√2.

177+52√2.

3. mn = (13-2√2) (13+2√2)

(a+b) (a-b) = a2-b2

(13)2-(2√2)2

169-8

161.
