To Find :

  • we need to find the Value of m

Solution :

It is given that m - 2 is a factor of given equation .

So,

  • m - 2 = 0
  • m = 2

Equation = m² + 3km - 2k

Substituting value of m in given equation by that we can easily got Value of k.

⟶ m² + 3km - 2k = 0

⟶ 2² + 3 × k × 2 - 2k = 0

⟶ 4 + 6k - 2k = 0

⟶ 4 + 4k = 0

⟶ 4k = -4

⟶ k = -4/4

⟶ k = -1

Hence,

  • Value of k = -1
  • Option D) is correct ✓
