If m and n are the zeroes of the polynomial
3 {x}^{2}  + 11x - 4
find the value of
 \frac{m}{n}  +  \frac{n}{m}

= 3m^2 +12m-m+4

= 3m(m+4) -1(m+4)

  • 3m-1= 3m=1

m= 1/3

  • m+4= m=-4

then if we replace n in place of x then values of n are also same so here,,,

m/n+n/m

1/3/1/3+ -4/-4

1+1= 2

so the value of m/n+n/m is 2
