if m and n are the zeros of polynomial 3x square + 11x- 4 find the value of m/n +n/m.

Answer:

3x²+11x-4

3x²+12x-x -4

3x(x+4)-1(x+4)

(3x-1)(x+4)

so 3x-1 = m

m=1/3

or x+4=n

n=-4

now m/n + n/m = -1/12+(-4/3)

= -17/12.
