given equation is 3x²+11x-4
3x²+12x-x-4
3x(x+4) -1(x+4)
3x-1=0. x+4=0
x=1/3. x=-4
let as assume m = 1/3 and n=-4
then m/n+n/m
(1/3)/-4+(-4)/1/3
-4/3-12
=-4-36/3
-40/3
