The value of x = 3°

Measure of ∠HEB = 27°

Measure of ∠CEH = 63°

Given:

Measure of ∠HEB = (9x)° and measure of ∠CEH = (19x+6)°

To find:

The value of x and measure of ∠HEB

Solution:

Given Measure of ∠HEB = (9x)°

And measure of ∠CEH = (19x+6)°

Consider ∠HEB and ∠CEH as complementary angles

As we know Sum of complementary angles is 90°

⇒ (9x)°+ (19x+6)° = 90°

⇒ 28x° + 6° = 90°

⇒ 28x = 84°

⇒ x = 3°

Measure of ∠HEB = (9(3))° = 27°

Measure of ∠CEH = (19(3)+6)° = 63°

Therefore,

The value of x = 3°

Measure of ∠HEB = 27°

Measure of ∠CEH = 63°
