We know that
v= u + at from 1st eq. of motion
We know
K.e. = 1/2× m × v^2
Now put value of v here,
k.e. = 1/2 × m × (u+at)^2
= 1/2 ×m× (u^2 +2 uat +(at)^2
we can write that
K.e.=1/2 ×m×(u+at)^2
