if M.P =x,discount=10 percent,S.P=5500 , what is the value of x

m.p. - (10•/• of m.p. )= S.p

x - (10/100*x) = 5500

x- 1/10x = 5500

9/10x = 5500

x = 5500*10/9

x = 6111.11 Rs
