Given:

m = x + 1 \div x - 1
n = x - 1 \div x + 1

m²= (x+1/x-1)²

=x²+1/x²+1

=1.------›(i)

n²= (x-1/x+1)²

n²= x²+1/x²+1

n²=1.------›(ii)

mn= (x+1/x-1)(x-1/x+1)

=x²-1/x²-1

=1 ------›(iii)

substitute (i),(ii) & (iii) in m²+n²-mn

therefore we get

=1+1-1

=1

Step-by-step explanation:

=x+1÷x−1

n = x - 1 \div x + 1n=x−1÷x+1

m²= (x+1/x-1)²

=x²+1/x²+1

=1.------›(i)

n²= (x-1/x+1)²

n²= x²+1/x²+1

n²=1.------›(ii)

mn= (x+1/x-1)(x-1/x+1)

=x²-1/x²-1

=1 ------›(iii)

substitute (i),(ii) & (iii) in m²+n²-mn

therefore we get

=1+1-1

=1

Thank you!!☺️
