Given :  m₁  & m₂  are the slopes of the line  x² - 2cxy  + y² = 0

To find : m₁ +m₂   m₁m₂

Solution:

m₁  & m₂  are the slopes of the line  x² - 2cxy  + y² = 0

x² - 2cxy  + y² = 0

=> (0 , 0)  is a point on line

Hence lines passing through origin

y = m₁x  &  y  = m₂x are lines

( y  - m₁x)(y - m₂x)

=> m₁m₂x²   - (m₁ + m₂)xy   + y² =  0

Comparing with

x² - 2cxy  + y² = 0

=>  m₁m₂ = 1    & m₁ + m₂  = 2c
