Given :  m1 x m2 = 5

To Find  : Lines are

Solution:

Lines are Parallel if their slopes are equal

Line are perpendicular if  product of their slopes = - 1

in all other conditions lines will be intersecting

m1 x m2 = 5

where m1 and m2 are the slope of the line

Line are NOT perpendicular  as  product of their slopes ≠ - 1

assume slopes are equal m1 =  m2

=> m1 * m1 = 5  => m1 = √5

Hence Lines are parallel is slopes of both lines is √5

Lines are intersecting if  m1 = m2 ≠ √5
