Madhya Pradesh has a subtropical climate with three distinct season: winter, summer and rainy season. in winter the minimum temperature is 10°c though it drops as low 1°c and rises to maximum temperature of 25°c. in summer temperature fluctuate between minimum 22°c and a maximum of 38°c though it can very hot with temperature to 48°c. average rainfall is 116 mm with the harvest rain in the southeastern part decreasing towards Northwestern part.
