Unions has been around for a very long time, they fight for better pay, companies who may not always follow policies and guidelines that are in place to help employees with safer working conditions, health care and retirement benefits, and education. So I would have to say I disagree with this statement. If it stays that way then of course “you” don't need a union, but things change people change and that's when unions can be useful. Some people look at the here and now factor.
