If marked price of an item is Rs. 400 and it is sold at Rs. 360, then find the discount %?​

Answer:

MRP. of product = ₹400

Price after discount = ₹360

Discount price = 400 - 360 = ₹40

Discount percentage =>

 \frac{40}{400}  \times  \frac{100}{1}

=> Discount percentage :- 10%

Here it is given that the marked price of an item is Rs. 400

Now the item is sold at Rs. 360

∴ Discount amount

= Rs ( 400 - 360 )

= Rs 40

∴ Discount percentage
