Force=Mass×Acceleration
F=ma
F/m=a -----(1)
Case 2
m'=2m
a=a'
F=F (Force remains same)
F=m'a'
F=2ma'
F/2m=a'
1/2×F/m=a'
1/2×a=a' (From 1)
So acceleration will reduce to half.
