If mass of an object is given as (20.0 ± 0.1) kg and volume of object is given as (10.0 ± 0.2) m, then percentage error in its density is :-


a) 10%
b) 2.5%

Answer:

M=20

v=10

∆M=0.1

∆v=0.2

density=mass/volume

density=20/10=2

Now ∆m/m×100+∆v/v×100

0.1/20×100+0.2/10×100

=3

now 3-2=1 %
