Answer

a) 100.

Explanation

 {ne}^{20}

e = 10

Number of protons = 10 = 10 amu

Number of neutrons = 10 = 10 amu

Total mass = (10 + 10)= 20 amu

Mass of the electron is negligible.

If the mass of the neutron is doubled, then the total mass = (10×2) + (10×2) = 40 amu.

Therefore, the % of the increase

 \frac{40 - 20}{20}  \times 100  \\  \\   \frac{20}{20}  \times 100  \\  \\ 1 \times 100 \\ \\  100\%.

hopefully its helped u dear :)

ne 20

e = 10

 \frac{40 - 20}{20}  \times 100 \\  \\  \frac{20}{20}  \times 100 \\  \\ 1 \times 100 \\  \\  = 100\%

may its helpful for you dear :)
