Answer :-

Mean = 100

median = 100

mode = ?

emperical formula :

mode = 3 median - 2 mean

mode = 3(100) - 2(100)

mode = 300 - 200

mode = 100

The value of mode = 100

Given :

Mean = 100 , Median = 100

To find :

The value of mode using empirical relation

Formula :

Mode = 3 × Median - 2 × Mean

Solution :

Step 1 of 2 :

Write down mean and median

Here it is given that mean = 100, median = 100

Step 2 of 2 :

Find the value of mode using empirical relation

We are aware of the empirical relation

Mode = 3 × Median - 2 × Mean

⇒ Mode = 3 × 100 - 2 × 100

⇒ Mode = 300 - 200

⇒ Mode = 100

Hence the value of mode = 100
