Given :-

  • Mean = 52
  • Median = 55

To find :-

Mode ?

SOLUTION:-

We have the relation between mean, mode , median that is

3 Median = 2 Mean + Mode

3Median - 2 Mean = Mode

Substituting the values

3(55) - 2(52) = Mode

165 - 104 = Mode

Mode = 61

So, mode is 61

KNOW MORE :-

Mean:- Mean is nothing but average of the numbers For finding mean we have formula

Mean = Sum of observations/No.of observations

Mode :- It means in the given data which number is frequently repeated then the number is mode of the data

Median :- Median is the middle most number

If the no.of observations are even

Median = n/2 + n/2 +1/2

If the no.of observations are odd

Median = n+1/2
