Mode = 3 (Median) - 2(Mean)

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ = 3(4) - 2(3)

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ = 12 - 6

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ =ㅤ6

Hence the Mode is 6..

Question:

Find Mode, if Mean and Median are 3 and 4 Respectively.

Given:

Mean=3

Median=4

To Find:

Mode

Formula to be used:

\boxed{Mode=3Median-2Mean}

Solution:

It is given that Mean and median is equal to 3 and 4 Respectively. Put the values in formula. we get,

ㅤㅤㅤ:\implies {Mode=3Median-2Mean}

ㅤㅤㅤ:\implies {Mode=3(4)-2(3)}

ㅤㅤㅤ:\implies {Mode=12-6}

ㅤㅤㅤ:\implies {Mode=6}

Hence, The value of Mode is 6

Final Answer:

Mode=6

More to know:

Formula that states the Relationship between Mode Median and Mean is called Empirical Formula

Empirical Formula-:

\underline\color{red}{Mode=3Median-2Mean}
