The value of sigma(x_{i}-xbar) = 0

  • Let n be the number of observations.
  • Let those observations be x_{1}, x_{2}, x_{3} ............................ x_{n}
  • Mean of any given data is given by
  • Mean = (sum of observations)/(number of observations)
