To Find,

  • The measure of adjacent angles of parallelogram

Solution,

Given that,

  • The measure of adjacent angles of parallelogram are in the ratio of 4 : 5

Let us assume the rato angles as 4x and 5x,

As we know that,

Adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary ( 180° ),

∴ 4x + 5x = 180°

➞ 4x + 5x = 180

➞ 9x = 180

➞ x = 180 / 9

➞ x = 20

The value of x is 20.

∴ The measure of adjacent angles are :-

  • The angle which we assumed as 4x,

➞ 4x

➞ 4 × 20

➞ 80 ★

  • The angle which we assumed as 5x,

➞ 5x

➞ 5 × 20

➞ 100 ★

The adjacent angles of parallelogram are 80° and 100°.

Required Answer :

The measure of adjacent angles of parallelogram are :-

  • 80°
  • 100°

[ Option (1) 80°, 100° ] is correct the answer.
