Given:

median = 5 , Quartile Deviation = 1.5

To Find:

The coefficient of Quartile deviation ?

Solution:

Here, it is given that -

median = 5 and Quartile deviation , QD = 1.5

From the formula-

Coefficient of Quartile Deviation = (QD × 100)/median

therefore, coefficient of QD ;

=\dfrac{(1.5)(100)}{5}\\ =(1.5)(20)\\=30

Hence, coefficient of quartile deviation is 30.
