Given :-

  • Median - Mean = 2
  • Mean + Median = 38

To Find :-

  • Mode .

Solution :-

→ Median - Mean = 2

→ Mean + Median = 38

adding both we get,

→ (Median - Mean) + (Mean + Median) = 2 + 38

→ 2Median = 40

→ Median = 20 .

now, we know that,

  • Mode = 3Median - 2Mean .

so,

→ Mode = 3Median - 2Mean .

→ Mode = Median + 2Median - 2Mean .

→ Mode = Median + 2(Median - Mean)

→ Mode = 20 + 2 * 2

→ Mode = 20 + 4

→ Mode = 24 (Ans.)
