Answer:

0:1:7

Explanation:

in fourth generation we get 2 hybrids (n14/n15) and 14 light (n14/n14) and 0 heavy (n14/n14)

so answer will be 0:1:7

Meselson and Stahl

Explanation:

Watson and Crick proposed the hypothesis of semi conservative DNA replication but proved by Meselson and Stahl

  • Each DNA strand act as a template for synthesis of new strand
  • Each DNA produce two new DNA molecule, each with one new strand and one old strand called semi conservative replication(half of the parental DNA conserved in daughter DNA)
  • 15N medium is heavy DNA
  • 14N DNA is light DNA
  • 15N-14N is hybrid DNA
  • The ratio of 15N/ 15N : 15N/ 14N : 14N/ 14N containing in the fourth generation would be= 0:1:7
