If mirrors need light to work, what happens if you put night vision goggles on in the dark and look at a mirror?

I think that only the light which already is reflected by the mirror can be still seen, meaning if there's no light sources present, there wont be nothing to see in the mirror

Night vision goggles NEED light.
They work by magnifying tiny amounts of light into brighter light that you can see - and also by picking up infrared light and converting it into visible light.
